- There is now an RS speed grade for the 2025 Audi e-tron GT. This grade makes 912 horsepower at 680 kW peak output.
- The sleek trim, which has a new front bumper and a smaller battery pack, changes the way it looks.
- Audi says that the 2025 e-tron GT is already on sale in Europe. They are still waiting for details about the US market.
In 2025, the Audi e-tron GT will get a big power boost, a new model, and other changes that are similar to what was done to its Porsche counterpart. The Audi e-tron GT performance is now at the top of the list. It has 680 kW (912 horsepower) of power going to the wheels. The e-tron GT also has a battery pack that is thicker but lighter, which increases range.
As with the Porsche Taycan, the e-tron GT’s top trim level gains a lot from having much stronger hardware. The newest e-tron model, which is actually called the RS e-tron GT performance, has two electric motors that work together to make 912 horsepower.
If you don’t buy the speed version of the RS, your power will drop to 844 horsepower. The ’25 Tron’s power numbers go up to 671 horsepower with the S e-tron, which is more than the 637 horsepower of the current RS model.
It looks like the ’25 e-tron GT has a bigger and smaller battery pack. Audi says that the new battery pack, which has a net capacity of 97 kWh instead of the current 83.7 kWh capacity, makes the car 19.8 pounds lighter. Audi also made changes to the regenerative braking system, which now makes 400 kW of power at its peak.
The company raised the fastest charging speed to 320 kW, which can add 174 miles to the range in just 10 minutes and, in perfect conditions, turn a 10% charge into an 80% charge in 18 minutes.
With a bigger battery pack than the RS e-tron’s current 249 miles, you can probably expect a few more miles from the e-tron GT. Information about the US range is still being worked out.
This ’25 e-tron GT is different from the newer types because the front end has been redesigned. The new nose looks meaner, and the air curtains have been changed to improve airflow over the front wheels. The S and RS types also come with a new style of 20-inch wheels and a 21-inch wheel option based on the wheels on the AVUS Quattro.
The inside of the steering wheel is flat and greets drivers. The S e-tron model now comes with 14-way electrically adjustable seats as standard and a leather-free interior can be added as an extra. Instead, for an extra cost, the RS e-tron can come with massage seats that can be adjusted in 18 different ways.
In addition, the usual two-chamber, two-valve adjustable air suspension should cut down on roll and dive while making the car easier to handle on bumps. Aside from that, Audi says the system can lift 55 mm (2.16 inches) in seconds.
In the United States, the amount of money you will lose is kept secret at an Audi shop. The 25 Audi e-tron GT will cost €126,000, which is about USD 134,889. The cheapest e-tron GT in the US right now costs $108,590, but prices are likely to go up.
