If you were hoping that the 2025 Genesis GV80 would undergo a drastic transformation, you might have been let down. The SUV’s clean, elegant shape remains largely unchanged, a testament to its timeless appeal. Despite numerous updates, particularly to the interior, the prices have remained consistent. This is the cost of the new GV80 SUV when it hits the market this summer. As for the new fastback Coupe form, we’re still awaiting news.
The GV80 offers a thrilling driving experience with its two engine choices: a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline four that can deliver up to 300 horsepower, or a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 that can unleash a staggering 375 horsepower. The model names, indicated by the letters’ 2.5T’ or ‘3.5T’, reflect the level of trim. While there have been some exterior updates, such as intakes, brush guards, and back exhaust sections, the most significant changes are found inside. These include a redesigned center panel and a new standard 27-inch OLED integrated instrument cluster with a touchscreen in the middle.
The news release lists the starting MSRP as $57,700 before freight, which is more than the starting price of the 2025 GV80 2.5T Standard AWD on the Genesis online configurator ($58,700). We’ll use the price shown on the public website. The grade level comes with 19-inch wheels, a powered and heated front seat, a digital key, wireless phone charging, smart cruise control, highway driving aid, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, no matter how much it costs.
It’s worth noting that the press release mentions two options that are not yet available on the website configurator. These include the Genesis Digital Key, a heated steering wheel, and adjustable sunshades for the back doors of the 2.5T AWD. Upgrading to the 2.5T Select AWD, priced at $ 62,950, brings 20-inch metal wheels, matte-finish wood trim, and a panoramic sunroof. Interestingly, the price for the 2.5T AWD trim, which is the same as the rear-drive type, is $ 60,050.
The 2.5T Advanced AWD model, which starts at $66,950, features Bang and Olufsen sound, heated and cooled front seats, and heated steering. The 2.5T Prestige AWD model, which starts at $71,800, has 22-inch wheels, better controls for the driver seat, heated seats in the second row, three-zone climate control, a head-up display, active noise cancellation, and automatically adjustable suspension.
The base price of the 2025 GV80 3.5T AWD Advanced is $75,150. It comes with 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a powered liftgate, leather and matte wood trim on the inside, heated and ventilated front and second-row seats, adjustable ambient interior lighting, a head-up display, a digital key and proximity key, Bang and Olufsen audio, and advanced rear-occupant alert. The 2025 GV80 3.5T AWD Prestige grade doesn’t have a third row and only has three temperature control zones. It starts at $80,650. Some of the things that make it special are its 22-inch wheels, heated front seat, automatic door closures, digital rearview mirror, active noise cancellation, microfiber suede headliner, and Genesis Connected Services.
According to Genesis, the 2025 GV80 2.5T Standard AWD and 2025 GV80 2.5T Select AWD will be available “this summer.” However, most GV80 options will be available in the following weeks. The 2025 GV80 Coupe’s price has yet to be made public.
