- The 2025 Mini Cooper four-door, which is largely based on the design of its predecessor, will finally be part of the next-generation Mini range.
- The Cooper with four doors will have a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 engine that can make 201 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque.
- Mini says that the next four-door car will come in the Cooper S trim level, which will be on sale in September and start at $34,195.
Fans of Four Doors, be happy! If you think that Mini is putting you out in the cold with the ’25 Mini Cooper, you’d be wrong. Mini is going to make a new Cooper with four doors, and sellers should be able to get them in September.
Both the new two-door Mini Cooper and the new four-door Mini Cooper have a lot of changes to the outside and inside that make them more modern.
The Cooper S four-door has a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 engine that makes between 201 and 221 lb-ft of torque when paired with a seven-speed automatic gearbox.
Around the world, the Mini Cooper C four-door will come with a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine that makes 156 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque.
While the Mini Cooper C four-door will not have the 2.0-liter I4 engine when it first comes out in the US, it will be offered there. Power projections will be given soon.
These engines are surrounded by a new shell that is 158.9 inches long, 68.66 inches wide, and 57.63 inches tall. If you know what the 24 Mini Cooper four-door looks like, you’ll see that the new model is similar.
The ’25 model is 0.4 inches longer, 0.66 inches wider, and 1.63 inches higher than the ’24 model. There is 2.8 inches more space between the wheels of the 25 Mini Cooper four-door model than the two-door model.
Inside this new sheet metal is the same brand-new cabin as the two-door kind. The dashboard has a big screen in the middle that shows media and navigation information.
Because the second row is wider, it should be easier for people to sit three across it. When the second seat is folded down, there is 32.66 cubic feet of room for luggage, but only 9.7 cubic feet when it is upright.
The Cooper S will come out first, so prices will be higher. When it goes on sale in September, this Cooper S four-door will cost at least $34,195.
What a big jump from the $31,095 price of the ’24! However, a cheaper Cooper C version will be available next year.
